Privacy & security
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. Almost everything runs entirely in your browser, on your own device. Your files are never uploaded to us — we don't receive them, store them, or see them. You can verify this: most tools keep working even if you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded, because nothing is being sent anywhere.
What happens to my files after I use a tool?
Nothing leaves your device in the first place. When you close or reload the tab, the file and the result are gone from memory. We have no copy because we never received one.
Is it safe to paste passwords, JWTs, or private text into the developer tools?
Yes — those tools (JWT decoder, hash generator, password generator, etc.) process everything locally in your browser and never send your input anywhere. The password generator uses your browser's secure random generator and never transmits or stores the passwords it creates.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell personal data, and since we never receive your files, there is nothing there to sell. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Cost & access
Is it really free?
Yes. All tools are free to use. There are no paid plans and no hidden charges.
How do you make money, then?
The site is supported by unobtrusive ads and by voluntary donations (Ko-fi) from people who find the tools useful. We keep ads small and out of your way on purpose.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no email required. Just open a tool and use it.
Do I have to turn off my ad blocker?
No — everything works with an ad blocker on. If you'd like to support the project, turning it off here or leaving a small donation helps, but it's entirely optional.
Technical & limits
Why is the first conversion (or a video tool) slow to start?
Some tools (video, and a few others) load a processing engine into your browser the first time you use them. That engine is a one-time download; after that it's cached, so the next time it starts instantly.
Why doesn't a tool work on my phone?
Most tools work on mobile, but some heavier ones — especially video tools — are built for desktop browsers and may not run (or run slowly) on mobile. If a tool isn't supported on your device, it will tell you.
Are there limits on file size or length?
Some tools have reasonable limits (for example, on file size, or a maximum video length) to keep things fast and to avoid overloading your browser's memory. If your file is over a limit, you'll be told before processing starts.
Does it work offline?
Once a tool's page (and its engine, if any) has loaded, many tools keep working even without an internet connection — because the processing happens on your device, not on a server.
About specific tools
My QR code has a logo but won't scan. Why?
A logo covers part of the code, so scannability depends on settings. When you add a logo we automatically raise the error-correction level and cap the logo size to keep the code scannable. If it still won't scan, reduce the logo size or increase the contrast between the code and background colors.
Why does the meme maker / video tool take a while to render?
Video is processed on your own device, so render time depends on your computer's speed, the video's length, and its resolution. A short clip is quick; longer or higher-resolution videos take more time, and slower machines take longer.
Can I download videos from YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok?
No — we don't offer that, and we won't. Downloading from those platforms breaks their terms of service. Our video tools work only with video files you already have on your device.
Does the "clean text" tool detect AI-written text?
No. It's a cleaner, not a detector. It finds and removes non-standard or invisible characters (smart quotes, em dashes, zero-width spaces, etc.) that AI tools — and also word processors like Word — often leave behind. The presence of those characters does not prove text was written by AI, so the tool never claims to determine that. It just shows you what's there and cleans it if you want.

Currently English and Ukrainian, each written properly rather than machine-translated. More may come later.
