Our philosophy

Hi — I'm the person building alltinytools. It's just me, so this page is written in my own voice, not a company's.

What this is

alltinytools is a small collection of free, browser-based tools for everyday files — images, video, audio, text, and a few things for developers. Each tool does one clear job: convert this, resize that, clean this up. No sprawling suite, no learning curve. You land, you do the thing, you leave.

Why I built it

Honestly? Because I got tired of the alternatives.

I make video memes with my colleagues. I convert files. I resize photos. And every time, the tools online wanted something from me first: sign up, verify your email, wait for a queue, accept a watermark stamped across my result, or upload my file to some server I know nothing about. For a five-second task.

So I started building the tools I actually wanted — the ones that just work, immediately, without asking for anything. That's the whole idea. If a task takes five seconds, the tool shouldn't take five minutes of friction.

Your files stay yours

This is the part I care about most, and it's not a slogan — it's how the tools are built.

Almost everything here runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to me or anyone else. I don't receive it, I don't store it, I don't see it. You can check this yourself: most of the tools keep working even if you go offline after the page loads — because nothing is being sent anywhere.

For photos with location data, documents, or things like tokens and passwords, that matters. Your stuff shouldn't have to travel to a stranger's server just to be resized or cleaned.

Ads, honestly

I keep the lights on with ads and with donations from people who find the tools useful. But I have a rule: ads should never get in your way. They stay small, off to the side, and never cover the tool or sit between you and the button you came to press. No pop-ups, no full-screen takeovers, no "turn off your ad blocker or else."

I'd rather earn a little less than turn this into one more cluttered site you close in frustration. If you use an ad blocker, that's completely fine — everything still works. And if a tool saved you time and you feel like buying me a coffee, that means a lot and keeps this going.

Free, and what that means

No paid plans. No accounts. No email required. It's free to use, and I intend to keep it that way — funded quietly by the ads and donations above, not by paywalls or by selling anything about you. I don't sell data, and since I never receive your files, there's nothing there to sell anyway.

Where it's going

I'm adding tools over time, based on what people actually need (and what annoys me personally). The principles above won't change: fast, private, free, and out of your way. If something here is broken or you wish a tool existed, I want to hear it.
